Forestwood grants the privilege of membership to individuals committed to our mission. The privilege of membership may be withdrawn or denied at any time, where the board determines that a member or prospective member's conduct is inconsistent with the mission of the organization or the best interest of the sport and those who participate in it.
Membership Types
All Home Club, Associate, Collegiate, and Introductory Members can purchase club ice, take private lessons, test, and perform in ice shows. All Members 18 and over are required to complete SafeSkate certification. All skaters and coaches 18 and over are required to complete a background check.
All Members receive a digital U.S. Figure Skating membership card. All Members (except for Parent/Non-Skating) receive a subscription to SKATING magazine (one per family), certificates of recognition for passing tests, and U.S. Figure Skating Sports accident insurance.
Full Home Club
Choose this option if you:
- Would like to be a Home Club Member at Forestwood.
Benefits:

- First Priority for Season Pass (& Discounted Price)
- Purchase a Home Club Athlete or Coach Jacket
- Priority for Forestwood Test Sessions
- Discounted Price on Forestwood Test Sessions

Associate Club
Choose this option if you:
- Are a Home Club Member at another club, and would like to be an Associate Club Member at Forestwood.
Benefits:
- Ability to perform Ice Shows and Club Events
- Opportunity to purchase a Season Pass if available
- Test recognition for passing tests
- USFSA Sports Accident Insurance
Learn to Skate USA
Choose this option if you:
- Want to take Learn to Skate lessons or are a LTS Coach, Assistant Coach or Helper.
NOTE: This is separate from a club membership. If your skater will hold BOTH a Club and LTS membership, you must purchase the LTS Membership FIRST and complete that payment before purchasing a Club Membership. *LTS Members cannot skate on Club Ice without a Club Membership.
Benefits:
- Ability to participate in LTS Classes
- Ability to take Supplemental LTS Lessons
- Test recognition for passing LTS levels
- Ability to Coach LTS (if a LTS USA Coach)
- Opportunity to participate in Forestwood Ice Shows (in LTS Group Numbers)
Introductory Member
Choose this option if you:
- Want to become a first-time Club Member with Forestwood, skate on club ice, take lessons, and compete. One-time only. This allows new members to have the benefits of a club member at a discounted price.

- First Priority for Season Pass (& Discounted Price)
- Purchase a Home Club Athlete Jacket
- Priority for Forestwood Test Sessions
- Discounted Price on Forestwood Test Sessions

Subsequent Full Home Club
Choose this option if you:
- Have a sibling that is a Home Club Member of Forestwood, and would also like to be a Full Home Club Member.

Collegiate Membership
Choose this option if you:
- Are a full-time college student, and a Home Club Member at Forestwood. This membership is unique in that it is valid for 4 years. This is equivalent to a Full Home Club Membership. Proof of enrollment in college is required.

- Would like to be a Home Club Coach at Forestwood. Only available to Home Club Professionals.
NOTE: With this membership, you cannot skate on Club Ice.

Parent / Non-Skating
Choose this option if you:
- Are a parent who wants to have the ability to vote in General Meetings, elections, or events. Mandatory if you are on the Board of Directors.
